Today is the day... did you make it?
January 19th, 2020... doesn't sound like a big holiday, a monumental date we need to pause for, a date that will go down in history... or rather, maybe it is just about YOU going down...
January 19th, 2020 has been dubbed Quitter's Day 2020 - the date selected by entities in the world of New Year's Resolutions as the day in which many people give up on their resolutions for a better life.
Despite the title from my last week's blog Commit to Fail, which really isn't what it seems (go back and read it if you haven't), this week's blog piggybacks off of it, it's another week about committing to succeed. It is about dedicating your mind and soul to whatever it is on your heart, and not giving up.
It's hard to believe we're already almost 3 weeks into 2020. Whether you're still 'in it'- or not, whether you've hit a 'flow state' with your goals and habits - or not, don't worry about it! You'll literally have the rest of your life to experience the ups and downs that come with committing to succeed.
The key is knowing that you'll never experience the success you are looking for if you give up. If you stick with it, through ups and downs, you'll at least give yourself the chance to succeed.
It takes time! Remember that success isn't defined as that isolated moment experienced in the end goal. It is defined as relishing in the moments of progress leading up to, and beyond, the end goal.
The important thing is to NOT GIVE UP!!!
So how about you...did you make it?
Believe it, and anything is possible~!
Best,
Brianne
